ARCOGUL cultivated seeds, chemical & organic fertilizers, edible oils etc. are made available to these cooperative societies to meet the changing needs of its members. ARCOGUL entered in to an agreement with the Anand Agriculture University (AAU) to undertake seed production activities in the farmers’ fields. The fields are developed by the AAU. The AAU also agreed to provide all the technical support to the farmers to fulfill the objective of developing the good quality and high yielding variety seeds. To ensure quality of seeds, ARCOGUL has installed state of the art seed grader machine. The seeds produced are marketed in ANAND Brand. ARCOGUL has developed the surplus non-cultivated land located in its premises and used it for seed production. The ARCOGUL provided storage facilities of 10,000 MT fertilizers to GSFC, GNFC, KRIBHCO, IFFCO, Chambal Fertilizer Companies. As a result, during 2005-06, ARCOGUL has supplied around 1,07,600 MT of fertilizers to the farmers through its network. ARCOGUL is also in the business of marketing Organic Manures in ANAND Brand.
